Silver/Petrucelli To Serve As Resident Engineer To CAA

Bradley International Airport

Windsor Locks, CT – Silver / Petrucelli + Associates (S/P+A) of Hamden is providing resident engineering services to the Connecticut Airport Authority (CAA) as part of improvements at Bradley International Airport, Connecticut’s largest airport in Windsor Locks.

S/P+A has been on-call to the CAA since the firm’s selection in 2017 for a three-year M/E/P engineering support contract. The firm’s role as Resident Engineer began in May for improvements to a wastewater pump station and sanitary sewer system that serves the airport.

Daily onsite activities include inspection and oversight of construction of the project to ensure procedures and materials comply with plans and specifications. The project is expected to last until this fall.

“We’ve provided engineering and design support under more than 45 on-call contracts over the years,” said Ken Sgorbati, PE, principal mechanical engineer.  “Being able to dedicate an experienced M/E/P engineer for a months-long project like this one is especially valuable to clients like the Airport Authority that have fully committed their specialized staff to other assignments.”
