Milford, OH – Ground was broken today at Shor Park, signifying that the Clermont County Park District’s $1.3 million improvement project is underway. The 56-acre park is at 4659 Tealtown Road in Milford, east of Cincinnati.

Woolpert created the master plan and is providing comprehensive architecture and engineering services for the project, which will include two picnic shelters, new walking trails, a playground, two rain gardens, ample parking and a windmill, which also will serve as a wind turbine to generate power for the park.

Perkins/Carmack Construction is the contractor for this project, which is scheduled to be completed in November.

James Dobrozsi, Woolpert architect and project manager, said the shelters were designed to reflect the interests of S. David Shor, for whom the park is named.
