Marianne Monte
Boston – Shawmut Design and Construction recently announced Marianne Monte has joined the firm as chief people officer. Her area of expertise focuses on leadership development, strategies for talent retention, motivation, and reward. She will partner with and support senior executives in Shawmut’s eight offices nationwide.
Prior to joining Shawmut, Monte was the vice president of human resources at the Hanover Insurance Group and a senior vice president at BankRI. She recently served on the transition team for Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo.
In an effort to continue building a talent-driven organization focused on providing the gold standard of client service, CEO Les Hiscoe created Monte’s new C-level human resource position — a first for the company.
