SGA Hires Fickett

Matthew Fickett

Boston –  SGA, a Boston and New York City-based national architecture firm, recently announced that it has hired veteran architect Matthew Fickett, AIA, CPHC, LEED as the new director of its Science+Technology group.

Fickett has worked in laboratory design since 2006, and is joining SGA from his position at EYP as senior lab planner and senior associate. Previously, he was a project architect and associate at Perkins+Will, and an architect at Payette and Wilson Architects.

He has designed laboratories for high-profile universities such as Johns Hopkins, Harvard, Vanderbilt and many more. His work includes cleanrooms for medical tissue processing, semiconductor and biological research, and fabrication for everything from medical devices to particle physics detector arrays.
