SCI wins 6th Urgent Care Center for SouthCoast Health

South Coast Health’s new Urgent Care Center

Middletown, RI – South Coast Improvement Company (SCI), of Marion, Mass. recently was awarded the contract for the build-out of South Coast Health’s new Urgent Care Center at 672 Aquidneck Avenue in Middletown, R.I.

The architect on the project is Vision 3 Architects of Providence, The project engineer is Davey Associates of East Greenwich.

This represents the sixth Urgent Care SCI has built for South Coast Health, a not-for-profit, community-based health system with multiple access points.

The new UrgentCare Center  is a renovation of 2,652sf of space,  and work will include exam rooms, clean rooms, bathrooms, X-ray rooms, reception areas, offices, labs, vendor and provider spaces and waiting rooms.

Additionally, the project will feature custom millwork, AD sliding door systems, new hospital grade air exchange system as well as other hospital grade finishes.

SCI will build the facility to meet the requirements of SouthCoast Health’s X-ray Equipment as well as all of its fixturing requirements.
