Saxe Middle School
Torrington, CT – O&G Industries recently completed the Saxe Middle School addition and renovation project on the school’s campus in New Canaan. The 18-month project was substantially completed and turned over to school officials in the fall of 2017.
The project team also includes owner’s representative SLAM Construction Services of Glastonbury, and project architect JCJ Architecture of Hartford.
The $18.6 million renovation and addition project included the construction of a two-story classroom addition that includes 17 new classrooms and the renovation of two classrooms and four music rooms.
The project also included the renovation of a 700-seat auditorium, improvements to the cafeteria and kitchen area, and construction of additional storage space within the auditorium and music spaces.
