Torrington, CT – O&G Industries, Inc. announce that Chris Rizy has received the Associated General Contractors of Connecticut’s (AGC CT) Industry Recognition Award for Supervisor of the Year. Rizy, superintendent for O&G’s building group, was nominated for demonstrating exceptional leadership on some of the company’s most complex projects.
“I am very honored to earn this distinction,” said Rizy. “I take great pride in my job and credit my success to the unwavering support I receive from my team and O&G’s leadership.”
Rizy has worked for O&G for 23 years. He joined the company as a project engineer and quickly advanced to project manager and then superintendent, the position he has held for the last 15 years.
The AGC CT is the local chapter of the national Associated General Contractors. The organization stands for the construction industry’s principles of skill, responsibility, and integrity. The Industry Recognition Award Program recognizes those individuals in the construction industry who exemplify these ideals.
