Residential Brand Expands into Stamford

Stamford, CT – Stamford Urby has entered downtown Stamford with 648 new rental apartments.

Development partners Urby and Brookfield Property Group have launched leasing for the first phase of apartments.  Urby is located on the corner of Greyrock Place and Tresser Boulevard, within walking distance of Stamford’s downtown commercial hub and train station with Metro-North service.

The collection of studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments feature bright and airy floorplans with ceiling-high windows looking out onto a lush garden of bamboo.  Immediate occupancy is available.

Designed by the Amsterdam-based architecture and interiors firm Concrete, Stamford Urby is comprised of 11 buildings of varying heights laid out in a square.  The entrance lobby is integrated with an all-day café.  Home to Roost, the café features a seasonal menu of coffee, light fare and cocktails, seven days a week. Open to the public, it offers food and beverage as part of the lobby experience.

Designed by Brussels-based architecture and landscape architecture firm, Bureau Bas Smets, the heavily-landscaped property features bamboo-lined winding paths and leafy gardens.  Highlighting the central courtyard is an elevated saltwater pool and patio, and numerous BBQ grills and fire pits.

Residents will also have access to a communal kitchen and fitness facility with Life Fitness and Peloton equipment, and a Woofgarden for resident canines.

Urby’s integration of technology allows residents to enjoy smartphone building and apartment entry, video intercom for guests, Amazon Hub package lockers, WiFi in all common areas, filtered water station, and a web-based portal for maintenance requests and rent payment. An enclosed parking garage offers electric car charging stations and bicycle storage.
