Boston – Finegold Alexander Architects announced that principal Regan Shields Ives, AIA LEED AP, has been elected president of Boston Preservation Alliance’s board of directors.

As a registered architect with over 20 years of experience, she leads Finegold Alexander’s educational and cultural practice. She is an advocate and thought leader in preserving historic buildings, including adapting them for new, contemporary uses.

“Over the past decade, Regan has distinguished herself as an integral member of the Boston Preservation Alliance’s leadership and governance team,” said Chris Scoville, outgoing board president and current vice president. “Regan’s contributions to the alliance are too numerous to mention, and the organization stands to benefit from her knowledge, network, and her passion for protecting Boston’s historic resources.”
