Westfield, MA – Peabody Properties and Affordable Housing and Services Collaborative, Inc. (AHSC), announced the completion of a $29-million renovation project at Powdermill Village Apartments at 126 Union Street in Westfield.
The multi-phase project encompassed both interior and exterior renovation to the 248-unit apartment complex. All apartments have been upgraded with new cabinetry, counters, kitchen appliances, vinyl plank flooring, and bathroom fixtures and finishes, in addition to window and door replacements, new community spaces and parking lot improvements.
“Preserving affordability while providing major upgrades were at the heart of this major project,” said Betsy Collins, vice president of development at Peabody Properties. “Both AHSC and Peabody Properties are committed to offering high quality affordable housing that residents can take pride in.”
AHSC is a member of the owner entity of Powdermill Village Apartments; Peabody Properties serves as the management company for the apartment complex.
