Peabody Properties’ Bedford Green Apartments finalist in NAHB Multifamily Pillars of Industry Award

Bedford, MA – Peabody Properties, a full-service real estate and property management firm, recently announced Bedford Green Apartments as a finalist in the 2017 National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Multifamily Pillars of the Industry Award.

Bedford Green Apartments, a supportive housing property for veterans age 55 and over, is a finalist in the Best Military or Veterans Housing category.  Winners of the 2017 NAHB Multifamily Pillars of Industry Award will be announced during an awards luncheon on January 9, 2018, at the International Builders Show in Orlando, Florida.

“Peabody Properties and its development partners Windover Construction and Affordable Housing and Services Collaborative, Inc. take pride in this accomplishment, but the true sense of satisfaction has been seeing veterans make Bedford Green Apartments their home,” said Betsy Collins, Peabody Properties Vice President of Development.

“We are especially grateful to the Bedford VA Medical Center/U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs New England Health Care System for believing in our experience and expertise to create this development, with a revenue stream to support case management and building services, making it a true public-private enterprise,” Collins continued.

“Bedford Green is a wonderful example of Peabody Properties’ mission to ‘put the HOME in housing;’ it’s so nice to see NAHB’s recognition of Bedford Green as one of the best and the brightest in multifamily development excellence.  We are grateful for their nomination and congratulate the other finalists as well.”
