Torrington, CT – O&G Industries, Inc. announced it recently welcomed Tiffany Firebaugh as its new chief information officer.

Firebaugh brings more than 20 years of IT and business experience in the construction industry with a focus on using technology and innovation to improve production and overall business performance.

Firebaugh says she aims to provide value to the organization through thoughtful leadership and technology that drives innovation, training, and empowering employees. “My main objective for my new IT team will be to align them directly with O&G’s mission and the needs of its various business streams in terms of technology, process improvement, and service delivery,” she said. “The goal is to create efficient and effective operations using technology by partnering with key stakeholders and delivering tools that create greater workforce efficiency.”

There will be an ongoing emphasis on security and minimizing cyber risk, making the best use of cloud technology, business intelligence, and digital transformation.

“Tiffany has a clear vision of where we need to go as an organization and will help us build on strategies already in place,” said Jason Travelstead, vice president, O&G Building Group. “Her years at Lane Construction perfectly position her for this challenge, and we’re excited to see how she helps us reach our ambitious goals for the future.”

As a Professional Women in Construction member, Firebaugh uses her position as a platform to advocate for women seeking careers in construction and promoting diversity within the industry. She has also served on various technology advisory boards and forums to improve technology specifically for the construction industry, including JD Edwards, AWS, and HCSS.
