O&G named one of the Top 100 U.S. Green Building Contractors

Eastern Connecticut State University Science Building. The materials and systems in the building were designed to meet the requirements for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification.

Torrington, CT– O&G Industries ranked in the 70th position on Engineering News-Record’s (ENR) 2015 Top 100 Green Building Contractors list.  O&G is one of only two Connecticut-based contractors to make the list.

O&G has completed over 50 projects that have incorporated sustainable building practices into their design.  In addition, O&G has constructed over 2 million square feet of LEED registered and/or certified buildings including 3 LEED Gold projects.  O&G is currently the primary contractor on a dozen school construction projects across Connecticut including six LEED Silver equivalent construction projects.
