Torrington, CT – O&G Industries was recently named as one of Connecticut’s 2015 Top Workplaces by Hearst Media at the organization’s awards ceremony held on September 10 in Monroe, Connecticut.
“It’s humbling to be named one of the state’s Top Workplaces by such a talented and hardworking team,” stated O&G Industries president, David Oneglia. “Our business is built on people. We’ve been around for 92 years and run 15 to 20 major projects at any given time. That doesn’t even include the 40+ facilities we operate. You don’t have that kind of success without talented, dedicated people making contributions at every level of the organization and at every site.”
O&G is joined by Webster Bank, Berkshire Hathaway, Bridgewater Associates, and ASML Holdings in the Top Workplaces Large Employer category for businesses with 300 or more employees in Connecticut. The award represents O&G’s third major corporate honor in 2015. Earlier this year, O&G was recognized as one of Engineering News-Records (ENR) Top 100 Green Building Contractors, ENR’s Top 400 U.S. Contractors, and holds the distinction of being one of only a handful of companies in the country to be recognized in the magazine’s first and 50 anniversary lists.
