O&G Industries Pledges to Donate $1M in Honor of Centennial Anniversary

Torrington, CT – Established in 1923, O&G Industries, Inc. is celebrating its centennial anniversary this year. As a show of gratitude to the communities that supported the company for decades, company officers of O&G have pledged to donate $1 million to support local philanthropic organizations.

O&G has a network of mason supply stores, quarries, concrete plants, and asphalt plants in several towns and cities throughout Connecticut. In the coming months, representatives from O&G will meet with community leaders and other stakeholders to identify causes in need of support.

O&G has a long history of investing in projects that positively impact communities, such as transforming a former sand and gravel facility into Toby’s Pond and Recreation Park in Beacon Falls.

O&G was founded by Andrew Oneglia and Flaviano Gervasini, young immigrants to America. The company has seen tremendous evolution from its early years as a supplier of construction materials and road builder. The company is now led by the third and fourth generations of Oneglia family members. O&G is recognized as one of the nation’s top 400 largest contractors, specializing in building and heavy civil construction, and as a leading supplier of construction materials in the northeast, according to the firm’s representatives.
