NHS to Hold 2023 ‘Opening Doors, Changing Lives’ Gala

Quincy, MA – NeighborWorks Housing Solutions (NHS) announced this year’s gala is scheduled for Nov. 2, in partnership with NEI General Contracting.

The “Opening Doors, Changing Lives” Gala will begin at 6:00 p.m. at Granite Links Golf Club in Quincy and will feature cocktails, dinner, entertainment, a silent auction, games, prizes, and more. New this year will be a photo booth, sponsored by South Shore Bank. The annual event helps raise funds critical to supporting the programs and people NHS serves.

NEI has been recognized for its corporate citizenship as one of the top charitable contributors to Massachusetts nonprofits. Proceeds from the gala will provide additional resources that support the programs and services facilitated by NHS, including programs related to affordable housing, education, and housing resources emergency financial help; shelter and homelessness prevention; first-time homebuyer education and counseling; and construction and management of high-quality rental housing across southern Massachusetts.

To date, many long-time sponsors have once again stepped up to provide support for the gala including Curtis Construction, Colonial Federal Savings Bank, Dedham Savings, North Easton Savings Bank, Eastern Bank, and Rockland Trust Bank.
