Boston – NEI General Contracting is working with Lena New Boston and ICON Architecture on Phase 2 of Olmsted Green Apartments in the Boston neighborhood of Mattapan.
Governor Charlie Baker, Boston Mayor Marty Walsh, Senator Sonia Chang-Diaz, and other members of the team gathered for the green revival ceremony.
The team recently joined Mass. Governor Charlie Baker and Boston Mayor Marty Walsh to celebrate the project as well as honor state- and citywide support of affordable housing.
The new construction at Olmsted Green, which began in March, is an expansion of an existing community located along the Mass Audubon Nature Preserve.
Olmsted Green was designed with sustainable principles in mind, incorporating garden courts and plenty of open space. The newest phase of the project will add seven two-story buildings totaling 41 units of mixed-income homeownership townhome units to the scenic community.
