Boston – NAWIC Boston hosted its 14th Annual Scholarship Awards Ceremony recently at the Boston Design Center. Each year, NAWIC Boston presents scholarships to students pursuing careers in construction-related fields such as architecture, construction management, civil and mechanical engineering.
At the awards ceremony, sponsored by real estate investment and management company Jamestown, NAWIC Boston presented scholarships to students pursuing careers in construction-related fields at local colleges and universities.
NAWIC Boston awarded the first annual Janal C. Fisher Memorial Scholarship to Taylor Briand, who attends Wentworth Institute of Technology where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction management.
Additional scholarship awards were presented to Katherine Dougherty, who is pursuing a master’s in civil engineering and construction management at Northeastern University and Rosa Manzo, a student at MIT’s School of Architecture.
