Sutton, MA – The Greater Worcester Chapter #241, Inc. of the National Association of Women in Construction is having its 13th Annual Golf Classic to benefit the Esther Weiloch Ventola Scholarship Fund, and other related charities. The tournament will be held at the prestigious Blackstone National Golf Club in Sutton, MA on Monday, June 14th 2010.
NAWIC is the National Association of Women in Construction, an International Non-profit Corporation, composed of women, employed in various construction related fields. Since its inception in 1955, NAWIC has advanced the causes of all women in construction from tradeswomen to business owners.
Since its founding, the NAWIC Founder’s Scholarship Foundation and NAWIC Chapters nationwide have awarded more than $4 million in scholarships to students pursuing construction-related studies. The Esther Weiloch Ventola Scholarship was established in 2008 in her honor for the many years of dedication and commitment to NAWIC and to ensure that all women wishing to enter the construction industry field are given a helping hand when needed.
Donations will be gratefully received for raffle prizes. Prizes may include tickets to local sporting events, electronic items, tools, gift certificates etc.
All items will be raffled, and proceeds will be used to benefit local charities.
