N.B. Kenney Completes Bancroft Elementary School Project

Andover, MA – N.B. Kenney Company, Inc., recently finished work on the Bancroft Elementary School in Andover.. This new 106,486sf school is targeted to earn LEED Silver accreditation.

The building was constructed with extensive use of recycled building materials and incorporates rainwater harvesting and energy-efficient building systems. Students will  be able to view the school’s energy monitoring systems as part of their curriculum.

N.B. Kenney partnered with SKANSKA USA Building to complete the HVAC portion of the project in record time despite an initial project delay. This mechanical work included installation of a displacement heating/cooling air distribution system, emergency generator, a chiller and related ductwork.
