Mike Procopio
Middleton, MA – The Procopio Companies announced that Mike Procopio, the company’s CEO, was selected for Building Design + Construction’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2022. The national award recognizes rising stars of their generation.
Each year, the editors of Building Design + Construction honor 40 architects engineers, contractors, and real estate developers who are recognized for their career achievements, passion for the AEC profession, involvement with AEC industry organizations, and service to their communities.

Under Procopio’s leadership, the firm has achieved a pivot from a small, local single-family homebuilder into a full-service, regional real estate development firm, focusing on multifamily rental and for-sale projects. The firm’s revenue grew from $5 million in 2016 to some $350 million in 2021 and has delivered nearly 2,000 residential units across some two million sq. ft., with $596 million in active developments in 2022.
