Mihich Retires from Studio G

Sylvia Mihich

Boston – Studio G Architects recently announced that Sylvia Mihich, firm principal and director of practice, retired effective Jan. 27.

Mihich brought her passion for maximizing design opportunities and creatively solving problems to over 20 years of work with Studio G. She played a critical role on a wide variety of projects, from feasibility studies to multi-million-dollar design/construction projects.

Sylvia’s school projects illustrate her dedication to bringing 21st century learning environments to students and communities around the Commonwealth.

Always interested in multiple project types, she strove to improve the daily lives of residents in affordable and mixed income housing for local housing authorities and non-profits and she designed the headquarters for the statewide housing advocacy organization, Massachusetts Affordable Housing Alliance (MAHA).

Studio G moves forward under the continued leadership of Founder Gail Sullivan and Associates Anelise Bateson and Steven Michener.
