Salem, NH – Methuen Construction Corporation, Inc. of Salem has announced the acquisition of a 170,000sf facility on approximately 37 acres in Plaistow.

The company plans to move all three of its divisions (Methuen Construction, Summit Metal Fabricators, and Methuen Construction Facility Services) to the new facility this fall after extensive renovations that will begin immediately.

The facility has six overhead bridge cranes, 26 roll-up doors, a rail siding, and will have 30,000sf of office space after the renovations.

Joe Barbone, CEO, said that this expansion will greatly enhance the company’s ability to grow and support projects that are currently in the works.

“This is the last physical move I believe will be required for quite some time. The last 15 years here in Salem have been rewarding, as were the 40 years we spent in Methuen,” Barbone said.
