Philadelphia – DPS Group, a privately-owned, global engineering, procurement, construction management and validation (EPCMV) firm serving high-tech process industries, announced that Pete Matson has joined the firm as vice president of business development.
Based in the Philadelphia office, Matson will be responsible for expanding the company’s client base and leading the sales and marketing of DPS services in the Philadelphia and greater Northeast region.
He will leverage his technical expertise, along with his long-term relationships across the industry to drive the company’s growth and support the regions transformative work in the life sciences industry.
Matson has more than 20 years of experience working in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. He is an expert in both project management and engineering, with a strong technical background.

Matson earned a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Drexel University. He is a member of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineers (ISPE) and the Project Management Institute (PMI).
