  Mass. Green Energy CPA Speaks at Conferences

Waltham, MA – Kathy Parker, CPA, MST, a partner at Rodman CPAs of Waltham, will be a speaker at two renewable energy conferences.

An active leader of Rodman CPA’s Green Team, Parker is a recognized expert in tax incentives and solar renewable energy credits.

After her appearance on Nov. 7 at IEEE Green Energy and Smart Systems Conference 2017 workshop at California State University, Long Beach on the topic of “What’s New in the Tax Laws For The Green Energy Space? Incentives, Rebates and Opportunities, ” she will speak on Nov. 14 at the 5th Annual IEEE Conference on Technologies for Sustainability (SusTech 2017) at the Hilton Phoenix Airport hotel in Phoenix, Ariz., on the topic of “Green Incentives & Green Company Positioning for Funding and Growth.”

Parker has devoted much of her time over the past decade to providing expert counsel and services to solar, wind, and biogas companies. A frequent guest speaker and panelist at renewable energy conferences and financial forums across the U.S., she has devoted the last several years to helping companies qualify for government grants, subsidies and tax incentives. She also helped corporations and partnerships to structure themselves in ways that would optimize their chances of success.

Rodman CPAs’ Green Team is comprised of the firm’s president Steve Rodman, CPA, MST, and partners Kathy Parker, CPA, MST, and Tom Astore, CPA JD, along with Elysha Sturm, senior accountant, and Mark Vitello, CPA, supervisor.
