CFMA of Massachusetts in association with McGladrey would like to invite you to our session on January 20, 2015 that will focus on understanding the various enterprise risks associated with the construction industry.

The event will feature an overview of the Massachusetts False Claims Act, the Massachusetts Data Breach Notification Law and Data Security regulations and related enforcement by Gillian Feiner and Sara Cable, Assistant Attorneys General with the Attorney General Office.

About the Keynote Speakers

Sara Cable is an Assistant Attorney General with the Consumer Protection Division of the Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley’s Office.  She investigates and prosecutes violations of the Massachusetts Consumer Protection Act and the Massachusetts data breach notification laws and data security regulations.  Previously, Ms. Cable was a litigation associate at Bingham McCutchen LLP, where she litigated commercial disputes featuring unfair trade practice, antitrust, and intellectual property claims.  She received a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.

Gillian Feiner is Managing Attorney of the False Claims Unit of Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley’s Consumer Protection Division, where she oversees investigation and prosecution of violations of the Massachusetts False Claims Act.  Before joining the Attorney General’s Office, She was a litigation associate at Roddy, Klein & Ryan, where she litigated consumer class actions concerning predatory lending, abusive debt collection practices, mortgage fraud and other unfair and deceptive business practices.  Prior to that, she was a Fellow at the National Consumer Law Center.  Ms. Feiner received a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University and a Juris Doctorate from Northeastern University School of Law. Consumer Protection Division, where she oversees investigation and prosecution of violations of the Massachusetts False Claims Act.  Before joining the Attorney General’s Office, Ms. Feiner was a litigation associate at Roddy, Klein & Ryan, where she litigated consumer class actions concerning predatory lending, abusive debt collection practices, mortgage fraud and other unfair and deceptive business practices.  Prior to that, she was a Fellow at the National Consumer Law Center.  Ms. Feiner received a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University and a Juris Doctorate from Northeastern University School of Law.
