November 17 – 19, 2015
Boston Convention & Exhibition Center
The leading building industry event in the Northeast is back this fall. The ArchitectureBoston Expo (ABX), produced by the Boston Society of Architects, brings 10,000 A/E/C professionals together over three days to peruse products and services on the show floor, partake in one or a dozen workshops, and party-on at happy hours, receptions, and shindigs.
The show floor is stocked with the latest in industry trends along with projects, structures, and hands-on demonstrations from vendors, contractors, BSA members, and emerging professionals. At this year’s show, attendees can tour a tiny house, designed and built by a fellow colleague and longtime ABX attendee, Tracey Powell. The BSA central lounge area will be transformed into an indoor park with furnishing provided by M.E. O’Brien & Sons and Walpole Woodworkers. It’s a great meeting spot in the center of the floor and now the perfect spot for a rest in a hammock. And the New England Regional Council of Carpenters will have a live demonstration of intricate floor work with an install-certified member. There is something to discover in each aisle of the ABX floor.
The 2015 conference program is expanded and features brand new tracks on high-performance topics, technology, healthcare, and education as well as a track of sessions designed for executive-level firm principals and owners. Industry experts from the Northeast and abroad serve on the panels for over 200 workshops.
Knowing the importance of networking in the building industry, ABX provides ample networking and professional development opportunities over the three days. Starting with the popular ABX social on Tuesday and continuing with alumni and association events on Wednesday night, there is a party for all tastes and topics.
Admission to the exhibit hall is free when attendees register before the early bird deadline – October 23. Workshop pricing also increases after that. Sessions can be purchased à la carte, and some special packages are available. For more information and to register, visit abexpo.com.
