Maine Heritage Timber Exhibits at Architecture Boston Expo

Millinocket, MEAward winning lumber company, Maine Heritage Timber will be showcasing its selection of custom sustainable solutions for residential and commercial customers at this year’s Architecture Boston Expo..

Recently named a “2013 Top 100 Award Winner” by This Old House Magazine, Maine Heritage Timber, offers a beautiful variety of custom home accessories, furniture, flooring, millwork and wainscoting materials. These high-quality wood products are created using sunken virgin growth timber lost to Maine’s Penobscot River during the height of the logging gold rush in the 1830s.  Maine Heritage Timber carefully reclaims this limited supply of logs in order to yield superb wood products of the utmost quality that are truly unavailable anywhere else.

Sought after by some of the nation’s most successful businesses, including LL Bean, Sugarloaf Ski Resort, The River Drivers Restaurant and Florida’s Moxie Restaurant, Maine Heritage Timber brings to market products that are characteristically unique in the industry in terms of its beauty, strength, durability and limited exclusivity. With a unique variation of natural, earthy hues, dense grains and unrivaled textures, architects are now able to provide their clients the opportunity to own rare pieces of history, which only compliment the finest of tastes.

At this year’s Architecture Boston Expo, Maine Heritage Timber (booth 974) will showcase an assortment of products from its exclusive collection of rare engineered river-reclaimed including:

Maine Heritage Timber creates various pieces of custom furniture and home accessories from its harvested timber, including custom wine racks, serving dishes, desks, and a whole array of tables. Each item adds charm and history not found anywhere else.

The river-reclaimed wood millwork from Maine Heritage Timber includes wainscoting, live edge paneling, and custom designs, such as stairs and moldings.

Maine Heritage Timber offers three collections of reclaimed wood flooring: The 1899 Collection is offered in yellow birch and red oak varieties; the Penobscot Collection features wide-plank pine in various lengths and widths; and the Great Northern Collection consists of 40” pieces of spruce and fir.
