Lockheed Window Recognized For Work on High School

Enfield High School, Enfield, Conn.

Enfield, CT – Established by the Associated General Contractors of Connecticut (AGCCT), the Build Connecticut Awards recognizes construction firms that have completed projects of excellence in the past three years. Lockheed Window Corp. was awarded a 2018 Build CT Merit Award for their work on Enfield High School for the Large Renovation category.

The project included a newly constructed addition as well as renovation to the existing three-story structure. The renovation and new construction took 18 months to complete and included installation of rain screen panels, entrance doors, and curtainwall.

Members of the Enfield High School team included project owner the town of Enfield and contractor Gilbane Building Company. Major subcontractors and suppliers included Lockheed Window Corp., Mizzy Construction, Inc., AAIS Corporation, Partitions, Inc., and Ferguson Co.

Lockheed Window Corp. was awarded a 2018 Build CT Merit Award for their work on Enfield High School.

Installed components included Kynar-painted aluminum Flatlock panels, custom aluminum rain screen panels, 20-inch diameter column covers, 50,000sf of insulated glass, EFCO 5426 impact system, 5600 CW systems, D518 entrance doors, and Kynar painted aluminum framing.
