Kopraski to Lead New Subsidiary of Loureiro

Scott Kopraski

Plainville, CT – Loureiro Engineering Associates, Inc. (Loureiro) welcomes Scott Kopraski as the vice president and general manager of Pelletier Builders, a new subsidiary of the full-service engineering and construction company.

With a diverse background serving in various positions from superintendent to executive leadership roles, Kopraski will spearhead the growth and development of Loureiro’s general contracting and construction management services with a focus on daily operations and successful program delivery at Pelletier Builders.

“We’re looking to broaden our general contracting and construction management focus to adopt a design/build mentality moving forward,” Kopraski said. “There are a lot of metrics in the past that we can exceed, and my job is to capitalize on that growth potential while driving accountability and enhancing our safety culture.”

Kopraski’s operations and safety experience is complemented by a strong fiscal management background, including value engineering, cash flow analysis, and conceptual estimating. His leadership of the Pelletier team will support the company’s essential program goals and enhance Loureiro’s existing service offerings.

“Vertical construction is the final piece of the puzzle to complete Loureiro’s integrated service model,” said Brian Cutler, Loureiro CEO. “Scott brings over three decades of business and large-scale program development, project leadership and risk management expertise to the table and we are lucky to have him on the team.”

“I’m honored to support the ongoing growth of Pelletier, who has spent more than 50 years building a stellar reputation in the industry,” said Kopraski. “I’m also excited about the possibilities that lie ahead, including talent development opportunities for our team and the broader set of Loureiro services and expertise for our clients. Our ability to serve as a trusted and fully-integrated engineering and construction partner will also pave the way toward exciting projects, collaborations, and results that will greatly benefit our employees, our clients, and the communities in which we operate.”

Kopraski has a Bachelor of Science degree in civil and environmental engineering from Clarkson University. He is a LEED accredited professional, an authorized OSHA Outreach Training Program instructor, and a Licensed Construction Supervisor in Massachusetts.
