Lynnfield, MA – JM Electrical Company and EM Duggan recently announced that they have completed project operations at Hub 25, a new 2.35-acre, upscale apartment complex located at 25 Morrissey Boulevard in Boston.
Hub 25 was built with a broad range of energy-saving features, including the installations done by JM Electrical and EM Duggan. The HVAC system and controls installed will work as a whole to keep precise temperature and humidity levels while concurrently moving large amounts of air throughout the building. The advanced system reduces energy consumption in the building by optimizing ventilation while upholding the optimal temperature for the residents.
JM Electrical installed individualized HVAC controls for the apartment’s heating and cooling and wired the roof top units (RTUs) and a garage gas detection system.
EM Duggan was the mechanical contractor for the job, which meant it installed the HVAC system.
Together, the two companies furnished and installed the HVAC system for the entire building, provided heating and AC for all apartments, while also installing the parking ventilation system.
The new living space, which is now ready for occupancy, borders UMass Boston and BC High School. The building features 278 studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments, and ground-floor retail and commercial space. The development is near the waterfront bike path, the Dorchester Star Market, and the Red Line T Stop.
Residents will have access to a courtyard with a pool and seating areas, as well as a 24-hour gym, theater, and other amenities. In addition, the apartment features 128 individual parking spaces for residents and space for bike parking as well.
