Millbury, MA – The American Council of Engineering Companies of Massachusetts (ACEC/MA) has named Greenman-Pedersen, Inc (GPI) as a 2021 Silver Engineering Excellence Award winner for their work on the Route 146 Interchange Reconstruction project in Millbury, Mass.
The interchange reconstruction of Route 146 at West Main Street was a project that implemented innovative solutions to satisfy the project need as identified by both MassDOT and the public. Public interest and concern with the appropriateness and effectiveness of the roundabouts were raised. With construction complete and safe operations made clear at the roundabouts, the outcome of this project came from the engineering community.
The 2021 Engineering Excellence Awards were recently announced and will be celebrated at the virtual ACEC/MA Engineering Excellence and Awards Gala.
