Integrated Design Firm Promotes Two

Emily Keys Innes

Boston – Harriman, a New England  integrated design firm, has announced the promotion of Emily Keys Innes, AICP, LEED AP ND and Kartik Shah, AICP, LEED AP to directors at the firm.

Both associates in Harriman’s Boston office take on expanded leadership roles across the firm with this promotion, co-leading the firm’s Urban Design and Planning Studio, and sharing responsibilities for business development; client coordination; project management and quality control; and staff development.

With this promotion, Innes is now director of Planning, and will lead all aspects of planning for projects firm-wide. In addition, she will lead operations of Harriman’s Boston office, which incorporates the Urban Design and Planning Studio, including administrative oversight of financial and day-to-day operations.

Kartik Shah

Innes is a certified planner with a background in financial planning, project management and municipal affairs. She is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and American Planning Association.

Shah is now director of Urban Design, overseeing all aspects of design for the firm’s Urban Design and Planning Studio.

Shah is an urban designer with experience in architecture, real estate, and development. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute.
