Hanover, MA – Integrated Builders recently announced that it has begun a 24,000sf renovation campaign at 75 Mill Street in Hanover, on behalf of the South Shore YMCA – Emilson.

The Rockland-based firm will provide construction management and contracting services to deliver updated studio spaces and a more open and efficient layout.

Michael Kelly, project superintendent at Integrated Builders, will lead his team to work efficiently and effectively with architects Tiryaki Architectural Design, LLC, and the South Shore YMCA team, which includes Paul Gorman, president and CEO, and Dennis Donovan, association director of facilities. This renovation marks the third project collaboration between Integrated Builders and the South Shore YMCA team.

The renovations at the South Shore YMCA – Emilson will include the addition of new studio space and a Spaulding Rehabilitation Outpatient Site as well as updates to the existing facilities including the dedicated childcare area. Upon completion, users of the facility will not only enjoy an upgraded environment, but will also experience a more open feel with efficient accommodations.

“Overseeing a construction project within a fully-operational, full-service YMCA presents a certain set of challenges, as there is constantly a high level of activity, which we will be working around,” commented Sean Burgess, project manager at Integrated Builders. “It will be crucial for our team to effectively communicate with Tiryaki Architectural Design to not only ensure a hindrance-free delivery for the South Shore YMCA team, but to also limit any potential downtime for users of the facility. We look forward to providing increased studio space at this state-of-the-art center that will even-better accommodate and promote a healthy lifestyle for all YMCA members in the South Shore.”

“The South Shore YMCA is excited about this facility improvement project at our Emilson Branch, which will allow us to enhance our membership experience and better serve both our members and the community,” stated Gorman. “We look forward to working with Integrated Builders once again, and are confident in their abilities to deliver high-quality work within our timeline and with limited disruption to regular facility operations.”
