Boston – The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Boston Chapter and American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE) Boston Chapter held a joint winter social event at The Black Rose on Jan. 29. The night included a cash bar, hors d’oeuvres, and networking with women employed in the construction industry ahead of the upcoming March Women in Construction month.
NAWIC is an international association of women employed in the construction industry, committed to promoting the A/E/C industry and supporting the advancement of women within it. ASPE serves construction estimators by providing education, fellowship, and opportunity for professional development.
NAWIC also held its fourth Annual Scholarship Trivia Fundraiser on Feb. 20 at Allsteel’s Boston showroom.
