HMFH Selected for Study

Dover, NH – The city of Dover selected HMFH Architects to conduct a feasibility study evaluating whether existing Dover High School and the Regional Career Technical Center should be rebuilt or renovated.

The existing campus, which totals approximately 220,000sf, houses both schools and serves a combined 1,700 students. Work on the study is under way by HMFH; the expected completion is late spring 2015.

“As the educational needs of 21st-century high school students continue to shift and evolve, the opportunity to link creative, hands-on educational experiences with preparation for success in science and technology professions is becoming more and more clear,” said Laura Wernick FAIA, a senior principal of HMFH Architects and project director for the study.

Your passion for education, your ability to collaborate and facilitate, your commitment to sustainability and the marriage of form and function in your design impressed us.”
