Portland, ME – Building scientist and physicist Lucas Hamilton, often referred to as the “green guru,” will be among the feature presenters at this year’s High-Performance Building Conference on March 26 in Portland.
“Lucas and fellow presenters Roy Schauffele, Melissa Payne and David Leslie are among the best in the country. They’re highly knowledgeable,” said Valerie Paquin-Gould, president of Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) – Maine Chapter. “We’re very excited to bring them and their expertise to Maine building professionals.”
The conference will gather architects, engineers, contractors, facility managers, owners and others from across northern New England under one roof at Holiday Inn Portland – By the Bay. The event also features a trade show of more than 40 exhibitors.
“This is an excellent time to learn about new products and services,” Paquin-Gould said. “We’ll have representatives from just about every aspect of building, from foundation to roofing.”
CSI – Maine is part of a national non-profit organization with 127 chapters across the U.S. Its focus is education and improving building construction knowledge.
