Scarborough, ME – Gawron Turgeon Architects, P.C. (GTA) recently announced that it has been named a winner of the International Interior Design Associations 6th annual IIDA Healthcare Interior Design Competition.
GTA was recognized in the category of Extended Care and Assisted Living Facilities, for The Mooring on Foreside in Cumberland.
“We are thrilled that such a very special project, which challenged current assisted living industry standards, was recognized in this manner,” stated Rebecca Dillon, principal at Gawron Turgeon Architects. “Our client was determined to erase any perception of institutional care and understood that every detail of the interior design was critical to achieve that – it was a pleasure to be an integral part of that vision.”
