Norwood, MA –  Four Points by Sheraton Norwood recently completed a 2,344 SF hotel lobby renovation. This project is the first phase in a series of renovations designed to modernize the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel located at 1125 Boston Providence Turnpike in Norwood. The hotel was last renovated in 2007.

The redesigned lobby features an open concept floor plan to streamline the check-in process for guests. Wide concourse hallways highlight ample seating arrangements leading to the guest elevators and the Tiffany ballroom. The pantry area was redesigned as a “Grab N Go” to provide guests with easy access to snacks, beverages, and toiletries and is open 24/7. The renovations were designed to be in compliance with Starwood brand standards and include the addition of a Checkpoint System to create a signature focal point with apothecary-style glass vessels lining background shelving.

“With our convenient location situated between Boston, Providence and Cape Cod, the Four Points by Sheraton Norwood has been a favorite facility for sales meetings, training sessions and executive conferences,” said Raymond Prescottano, the hotel’s general manager. “Upgrading our property to a more efficient, attractive, warm and welcoming setting is a top priority so we can continue to offer exceptional customer service while remaining one of the best values within the Boston area.”

The renovation was completed in three months. By creating a temporary check-in desk, the facility remained open and fully functional throughout the project so as not to impact guests.

The project team included Allegro Interior Architecture of Boston, Mass. and Columbia Construction of North Reading, Mass. Four Points by Sheraton Norwood is owned by Hobbs Brook Management, LLC, a pioneer in the development of office space in the Boston suburbs.
