Chicopee, MA – The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts celebrated the topping off for its new headquarters on Oct. 7.
C.E. Floyd Company is building the headquarters in Chicopee with Scalora Consulting Group and The Dennis Group. The new building will double the organization’s warehouse capacity and its ability to accept and distribute food. Over the past three and a half years, the food bank has had to turn away over one million pounds of food because it lacked the storage for it.
The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts is active in communities throughout Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden and Hampshire Counties and serves more than 100,000 individuals each year.
