Beverly, MA – Connolly Brothers, Inc., a construction management firm, announced that Jay Connolly was elected president and Thaddeus Minshall was named vice president of real estate and development. Stephen J. Connolly, IV has taken on a newly created role as advisor.
The company is celebrating its 140th anniversary this year.
Established by Jay Connolly and Thad Minshall in 2018, the 1880 Fund is committed to making a difference in local communities by working collaboratively with local agencies, offering support where no other support may be available. For example, last year Connolly sponsored a “Build A Bed” event at its headquarters in Beverly. Teams of two to four people were given the necessary materials and were able to build 61 beds. The newly built bed frames were delivered to children in need, along with a new twin mattress and bedding.
Representing the fifth generation to lead the firm, Jay Connolly joined the company in 2007 as a project manager. In 2014 he was promoted to vice president. In his role as president, he is committed to providing the vision, leadership, and strategy to drive the highest standards and results in the construction industry.
As vice president of real estate and development, Minshall will direct the property management team for all company-owned real estate, manage leasing and tenant relations, and source real estate acquisitions. Previously, he was a vice president at Minshall Stewart Properties in Washington, DC.
