Although 2021 had its share of challenges, we enjoy remembering our favorite moments from the past year. And given the ongoing pandemic that seems to shake our world up what feels like weekly, we are proud to look back at all the great things we accomplished as individuals, as a chapter, and as a community.

Here are our Favorite Five moments from 2021:

We were able to have in-person events again after a year (plus!)

Our first in-person event was Jump BACK to BD on June 24. We gathered outside in South Boston and discussed challenges being faced and solutions set in place by different firms – and enjoyed delicious food from Tenoch Mexican food truck!

We honored marketing professionals for their excellence and achievements

In June, we honored and celebrated outstanding A/E/C marketing professionals at our annual Awards Gala. Congratulations to all the winners!

We hosted successful Peer-to-Peer Coaching (P2PC) Events

Our Peer-to-Peer Coaching (P2PC) Event has drawn great attendance and participation as we continue to navigate the pandemic. We were able to make the transition from completely virtual to hybrid! The event provides SMPS Boston members with a wide network of resources, project-oriented coaching, and the opportunity to build personal relationships across the industry.

We supported our community at the Community Harvest Apple Orchard Event

On a beautiful day in October, we picked apples for a worthy cause! SMPS Boston with Community Harvest Project picked, sorted, and packaged apples at Community Harvest’s orchard in Harvard, Mass. in support of providing access to fresh produce for their hunger relief program.
