Newton, MA – Erland was awarded the new squash center project at The Fessenden School, a Pre-K-Grade 9 boarding and day school for boys located in West Newton. This 5,100sf addition to the School’s Pallotta Athletic Center will include five squash courts with a viewing area behind each of the courts.
Designed by CBT Architects, the facility will feature an exterior rain screen façade with curtain wall systems at each end of the new building.
The Fessenden School’s Chief Operations Officer Mike Grossman said, “We are excited to have Erland’s team on board to construct Fessenden’s new squash center. The availability of squash courts on campus will give more boys exposure to the sport at younger ages, while allowing our older boys to focus on improving their game rather than traveling to rented courts throughout Greater Boston. We look forward to a successful partnership on this project.”
