Engineering Firms Merge

WESTBROOK, Maine, January 29, 2018 — Walsh Engineering Associates, Inc., and Pinkham
and Greer Civil Engineers announce their merger effective January 1, 2018. The combined
company and employees will continue under the Walsh Engineering Associates name and is
located in Westbrook, Maine.

“Given the present rapid pace of real estate development, we are truly excited about our joint,
expanded capabilities in civil engineering in Maine and elsewhere in New England.” said
William R. Walsh III, PE, LEED AP.

“In joining forces, we believe the merged company will offer enhanced collaboration and
increased value in services for our customers,” said Thomas S. Greer, PE. “Our new team will
prove to be an agile workforce, able to respond to the diverse needs of a broader clientele,” he
added.

Both principals in the merger are quick to emphasize that the personalized service and proactive
relationships with their clientele will continue to be a top priority. “All client records will
continue to be maintained in the new organization and we look forward to the opportunity to
meet personally with each client,” Walsh explained. All 13 employees from both companies will
be retained and are a mix of project managers, civil engineers, environmental engineers,
designers, and technicians.

The two companies have similar professional portfolios, completing permitting, site design, and
construction administration for site development projects. The combined company will continue
serving architectural firms, commercial developers, private homeowners and industrial clients
with their needs in site design, environmental permitting and project management on the
municipal, state and federal levels.
