Engineering Firm Expands Employee Benefits

Manchester, CT – To better meet the needs of working caregivers, which include employees of all genders who have familial caregiving responsibilities outside of work, and to continue to attract top talent, Fuss & O’Neill has announced a substantial expansion of its employee benefit offerings.

The new offerings improve existing benefits and will make a great impact on the fit between life and work, not just for working caregivers, but for all employees. 

Benefit offerings include: 

Paid Family Leave: Benefit-eligible employees are eligible for six weeks of paid family leave at 100% of their pay. This paid leave could be used as family bonding leave, or to care for a child, spouse, or parent who has a serious health condition.  

Transitional Return to Work Program: Full-time employees would be able to return to work temporarily on a part-time basis in order to care for a family member while maintaining the fringe benefits associated with their full-time status.  

Expansion of Part-time Benefits: The expansion of benefits offering to include all benefits (health and welfare and paid time off) to all employees working 20 or more hours per week. 

The new employee benefit program goes in to effect on January 1, 2020 for all eligible employees.
