EDI Completes Three-Year Mathworks Projects

Natick, MA – Electrical Dynamics, Inc. (EDI) recently completed $11.5 million multiphased electrical work at the Mathworks offices campus on Apple Hill Drive in Natick, Massachusetts.

 

The projects included a site campus upgrade, including high-voltage primary metered distribution, switchgear, five new pad-mounted transformers, and all new site roadway, parking, landscape LED lighting systems; 180,000sf new four-story office building AH-4 core and shell and fit-up; 100,000sf building AH-1, three-phase core and shell and fit-up, and a disaster recovery/computer room.

 

EDI’s scope of work included state-of-the-art LED lighting and networked lighting control systems, switchgear, emergency and standby generator systems, UPS systems, computer room P.D.U.s and busduct and cable tray distribution, fire alarm systems, bidirectional amplification systems, power wiring for mechanical systems, power and lighting circuit wiring, life safety systems, kitchen and fitness equipment wiring, smoke exhaust system, and conference center.

 

Project teams included the Mathworks representatives, National Development, Cranshaw Construction, Architects Gensler, SG&A and Engineers Van Zelm Heywood and Shadford Integrated Design Group and Tetra-Tech.
