E-Contractor Academy Announced

Boston – Emerald Cities Collaborative (ECC) announced its spring E-Contractor Academy, an 8-week program designed to build capacity for women- and minority-owned contracting businesses to successfully participate in the clean energy economy.

ECC has hosted contractor trainings that have yielded over 40 graduates, many of whom have gone on to win contracts in the energy efficiency and clean energy space. Increasing supplier diversity in the clean energy economy is essential for ensuring a just transition to a green and equitable future. The benefits of supplier diversity go beyond supporting underrepresented businesses by also uplifting the communities where those businesses are located through job creation, increased wages, new tax revenue, wealth creation, and more.

The spring E-Contractor Academy will be held virtually on Wednesday evenings starting on May 11 to June 29 from 6-8pm. Program registration will be live now through May 4.
