Philadelphia – Dranoff Properties recently celebrated a groundbreaking of its newest property, Arthaus, a 47-story condominium tower located on Philadelphia’s famed Avenue of the Arts.
Designed by Philadelphia-native Eugene Kohn of architecture firm Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, Arthaus amenities include a first-of-its-kind rooftop greenhouse and more than 4,200sf of ground floor retail space.
Dranoff Properties collaborated with Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates to ensure the design of the $253 million project was authentic to Philadelphia and would serve as an iconic landmark on the Avenue of the Arts.
The design was inspired by the Bauhaus movement, a period of architecture that stressed form and function over excess and decoration. Arthaus offers high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the interiors with natural light, wide-plank oak flooring, oversized balconies and panoramic views from each corner unit.
Ultramodern amenities will include a 75-foot indoor lap pool and state-of-the-art fitness center overlooking the Kimmel Center, a tranquil library, board room, club room, dining salon, café with demonstration kitchen and kids’ playroom.
Occupancy is scheduled for fall 2021.
