Maynard, MA – JM Coull, along with Cambridge Seven Associates and Lemon|Brooke Landscape Architects, has begun construction on the second and final phase of The Discovery Museums’ campus master plan.
The firm is moving indoors from phase one, Discovery Woods, to completely transform the existing Science Discovery Museum building, providing much-needed square footage for new and current exhibits. These new spaces support the museum’s commitment to authentic, hands-on learning through play by focusing on:
- Early brain development
- Inventing/tinkering
- Math
- Water & Air
Phase 2 is scheduled for completion in December 2017. During construction, the Children’s Discovery Museum and Discovery Woods will remain open to visitors.
