DEW Welcomes New Hires

Dakota Stender

Manchester, NH –  DEW Construction announced that Dakota Stender has joined the firm as a project manager, and Michael (Mike) Lambert has been hired as a civil estimator.

Stender will manage the business side of projects, including subcontractors, the procurement process, overall schedule, cost control, change management, project accounting and disbursement. He will ensure that project and clients’ goals are met.

Stender joins the firm from the Bread Loaf Corporation in Middlebury, Vt. where he was a project manager since 2015.

Michael Lambert

Lambert will work out of DEW’s Manchester office. He most recently worked for WL French Excavating Corp. and prior to that he was a civil estimator with Consigli Construction working on projects that ranged from $50,000 to $25 million.

Prior to his job at the Bread Loaf Corporation, Stender worked at Trumbull Nelson while also finishing his B.S. in construction management from Vermont Technical College.

Lambert says his enthusiasm for the industry was sparked at a young age with his parents working in surveying and engineering. After high school Lambert served three and half years in the Army as a team leader in a light infantry tactical unit. He later attended Quinsigamond Community College.

“DEW is pleased to have Stender and Lambert join our team, said Taylor Woodward, executive vice president. “We’re very excited to have Dakota and Mike on board. Their depth of experience, knowledge and project management capabilities will complement our growing team of experienced industry specialists.”
